The Learning Connection is a home-based preschool where children will learn with love and laughter. It is strictly a preschool, with classes offered for children ages 3-5. Benefits of a home-based preschool include: young children transition easily into a home-like preschool setting; our home provides a safe, clean and caring environment that promotes learning; small class sizes allow for lots of 1-1 time with the teacher.
At The Learning Connection, your child will discover a new theme every month and enjoy arts & crafts, stories, music, snacks & more! We'll learn to share, respect other people, and make friends!
Our program is a must for any parent who wants their child to socialize, share, be ready for kindergarten and have fun!
Our Teacher:
My name is Emily and I am the preschool teacher here at The Learning connection. Teaching preschool is a passion of mine. I love to watch little minds grow. In 2006 I graduated from Boise State University with a degree in Early Childhood Development. I have lots of experience in teaching young children including teaching at Early Learning Preschool and this will be my fifth year teaching preschool in my home. I bring lots of enthusiasm and my love of learning to this preschool. My goal is to provide a high standard of education at an affordable price. I have been married for 10 years and have a wonderful husband and 4 beautiful children ages 7, 5, 3 and 4 months.
Our Philosophy:
Childhood is a time like no other. It's a time for exploring...for creating...for discovering about oneself...for meeting the world...for learning how to learn...for being accepted “just the way I am”. It's a time for blossoming and being cherished...a time for being allowed to be a child. I am a firm believer in hands on activities for children, and incorporates music and creative movement into all my curriculum. I believe that learning through music and play is the best way for children to store learned information into their long term memories
